1.Have you ever raised money ?

★raise用法
①作及物动词：
i.举起；抬起；提起。
This weight is ton heavry;I can't raise it.这东西太重,我举不起来。
ii.筹集:
We had great difficulty in raising the money.我们筹集这笔钱有很大困难。
iii.饲养;养育:
He is a farmer and raises horses.他是农民,他养马。
iv提高;增加:
Salaries have now been raised.
现在薪水已增加了。
②辨析 raise，rise
i.raise 为及物动词,可表示“举起;抬起”,还有“筹集”等含义。过去式和过去分词都为 raised。如:
If you want to ask some ques-
tions,please raise your hand.如果你想问些问题,请举手。
ii.rise 为不及物动词,意为“升起;升高”。过去式为 rose,过去分词为 risen。如:
The sun rises in the east and sets in the west.
太阳从东方升起,在西方落下。
③raise money集资；筹款；募捐;
get a raise得到加薪;
raise capital筹集资本，集资;
raise up举起，抬起；
raise fund筹集资金。
2.Yes. But the trip costs a lot of money.是的。但这次出行花费不少钱。
Each player needs to pay $150.
每位运动员要付150元。
We need to make some money for the team!
我们需要为球队挣点钱！
★cost的用法
①动词，花费；价值；
意为“(某物)花费(金钱)”，其主语是“物或事”，常用于Sth. cost(s) (sb.)some money结构。
These books cost 10 pounds each.这些书每本价格为10英镑。
②可数名词，代价；费用；成本。
at all costs不惜任何代价
at the cost of…以……为代价。
★★pay作及物动词，意为“付款；付钱”，多指花费金钱，其主语一般是人，常与介词for搭配使用。
pay for sth.为某物支付
pay sb.付钱给某人
pay money back还钱。
Tom paid 100 dollars for the bike.
汤姆花100美元买了这辆自行车。
★★★make money挣钱；赚钱。
make money for…为……赚钱。
注意：money为不可数名词，可以用some修饰。
3.I'll bake something delicious.
我要烤一些美味的东西。
I think everybody likes cookies.
我想每个人都喜欢曲奇饼。
★delicious作后置定语，修饰something。
★★everybody likes cookies.为宾语从句。
4.pay,take,cost,spend的区别
4.1pay ，cost 常用来表示金钱的花费。
①pay的主语是人。
常用的搭配有sb pay some money for sth.例如：
I haved paid three dollars for the book.我花费了3美元买这本书。
②cost的主语多是事和物。
常用结构是sth cost sb some money/sth cost too much 或a little.例如：
The dress costs me seven hundred yuan.
这条裙子花费了我 700元。
That house costs too much.这房子花费太多钱了。
4.2take表示的花费时间。
常用结构是it takes sb some time to do sth.这里用it 作为了形式主语。例如：
It takes me one hour to do this homework.我花了一个小时写作业。
4.3spend既可以是花费时间，也可以是花费金钱。常用结构为:
①spend sb some time/some money on sth, 表示花费多少时间，金钱在什么东西上;
②spend sb some time /some money （in） doing sth，表示花费多少时间金钱做什么事情。例如：
we spend ten minutes on the housework.我们花了十分钟在家务上。
I spend ten dollars on the tickets
他花了十美元在这些票上。
He has spent six dollars playing the computer games.
我花了六美元玩这个计算机游戏。
Tom has spent two hours fixing the fan.汤姆花了两小时修理这个风扇。
